After seeing Crowded House (and Tom Petty) treated with disdain in last year’s cup, I would never have nominated them this year, even though they are one of my favourite artists.

I actually thought you didn't pick this one Rob but not for the reason you allude to and you know I picked your TP selection and would have for a long way into the cupdespite your selection not being in my 10 favourite TP songs but what I do like is your sincerity and they way you go into bat for the music you like and why you like it.
You have a well rounded knowledge and interest in a number of genres covering a number of demographics but I will say and its only my humble opinion that musically at least you should have been born in the USA or in OZ.
