Norwich will be relegated (or as good as) by the end of March.
Big Sam will be, slightly harshly, sacked and retire whilst West Ham stay up.
Brendan Rogers will be the victim of disgraceful abuse (which is never referred to as such by the media) from Liverpool fans who mistakenly think that their team should be playing better. The poor standard of player (especially midfielders) at Anfield, along with their egotistical misconception that they are not poor, will mean that they stand very little chance of adapting to his style in his first season. He will probably end up sacked and the fans will deserve whatever bum they get to replace him.
City will win the league by at least 8 points.
Real Madrid will win the Champion's League.
Andy Carroll will continue to be the bizarre beneficiary of positive reporting from some sections of the media and Liverpool fans, many of whom will use this "quality footballer" as a weapon to attack Rodgers all season. By the start of 2013 it will be accepted fact by many that Carroll's 2011/2012 season was in fact a runaway success. This will be achieved by the continual insistence, as has been happening for the last 4 months, that he single handedly almost won the FA Cup last year, was the player of the Euros and was unplayable for the second half of last season. In fact, he wasn't good enough to start the FA Cup semi or final, missed a big chance in the final, looked a lumbering donkey in the Euros next to the likes of Italy and Spain, had maybe two half decent games at the end of the season - one against a non trying Chelsea - and had an absolutely dreadful other 36 games.
Wigan will, unfortunately, be relegated.
Mark Hughes will talk shite all year long, blaming anything remotely bad on his players, previous staff, the training ground and the weather. He will be sacked after being caught red handed robbing a bank and claiming that Uri Geller made him do it cos he was jealous of him.
