Sorry Jim, it was just that i was struggling convincing HMV and waterstones to stock more than 20 books which is understandable as i am a new author.
I just had to keep people in the loo pal.

If you went to Maine Road in the 80's and 90's and experianced the madchester rave scene and like Manchester and football in every aspect then i will guarentee you will love it pal.
Terry the manager at HMV just phoned an hour ago to say he has nearly sold out again so i am giving him my stock of another 50 books.
They are that impressed with the book he has e.mailed all the other North West stores to order it.

You can get it in the trafford centre, and Mcr City Centre stores now, as well as any other HMV store in Greater Manchester from next Friday.

Ive had it a few weeks now, its a great read. As simon has said before, its not your typical footy book.....but, very easy for us 40 odd year olders to relate to. I would highly recommend this.

Already bought one but thanks for the offer. I tend to buy most City books as soon as they come out (got it off Amazon). Not had chance to read it yet as I really do need to crack on with a couple of significant projects at the moment.

HMV is a bit of a coup - they refused to stock "Manchester A Football History" and "The Big Book Of City" - and WHSmiths are notoriously difficult to get in to. None of my books, apart from "Atkinson For England", ever made it into the airport.
