The sky isn’t affected by the horizon, so we can see anything big or bright enough to appear in the sky.

There are loads of studies showing how homosapiens evolved. If you choose not to think that is correct, then you can hypothesise about anything.

Maybe the moon is made out of cheese.

What are you taking about, I can walk up a hill and see much further than 4 miles, I can see Edinburgh 40 miles away,when out in the hills. what you can see depends where you are, you can see stars with the naked eye. There have never been aliens on earth that's just woo woo.
