The British Monarchy

There will never be a referendum on them. That is literally the problem.
I guess it's the whole crown estate entity, what it owns and who it owns.

Perhaps if there is public will, the estate will be defanged over time and the land goes into public ownership.

Im just curious if the people are majority in favour of their removal.
 
I thought you said the monarchy and our political system were intrinsically linked? So which is it?
Electoral system can be changed without at all affecting the monarchy. Electoral system is different from the political system. Electoral system is just a computational thing. A formula for how votes are computed into seats. That can be changed without touching the monarchy or its role.
