The Car thread.

@JULES does it look like this? There seem to be a couple of different designs.

This link is in Swedish but the column with blue text "Originalnr / Motorkod" is what you're looking for:

Was with the RAC for years never had to call them out. Daughter had to call them out at 7pm a couple of weeks ago, gave her a time of 10pm, then 3am, she called them and they told her to walk home (she was 30 mins away from her uni digs in York) eventually turned up at 10am the next day.

I was paying £640 for that “service” a year for family cover. Jumped to green flag now for £240 a year for same cover. Internet is full of horror stories about RAC.

I spent the last 5-6 weeks of the summer up north here and saw lots of dogs on the back of them. I’ll be spending all my summers up there from now on in. I better start looking for a dog : )
People drive them around here like cars, they're everywhere.

I have driven a BMW 5 series for a few years. There is a stick on the left of the steering wheel that starts a green light flashing if I move it. Anyone know what it it or why I have a green flashing light on the dash when I move it?
I had one on my Audi A6 but got kicked out of the owners club when I said I used it.

Forgive my ignorance here.. but googling my issue(clunky gear changes) seems to indicate I am low on transmission fluid. But it appears my car doesn't have a dipstick for it. I'm guessing it still takes it, but where does it go in this case?

After they were bought by a private equity firm? Surely not.
