The Carling Cup - play the kids?

I usually get pretty narked at our consistent piss poor showings in the Carling Cup because I see it as the easiest to win.

I think this year is the first year I really dont give a toss about it, and im hoping he plays the kids.

What do we think? Top up the silverware or are we in a position to prioritise competitions now?

depending on who we get, i reckon we could play our bench from yesterday and maybe one or two first teamers from yesterday and we'd get quite far.

I think we should take it seriously and play a mix of bench first teamers with a few youngsters to get the balance because as we learnt last year against WBA a whole back four of youngsters doesn't work so if we keep a balance I think we can win it

No, don't play the kids, well perhaps the odd one or two but thats about it. Hope Mancini takes it a bit more serious this time, and goes for it.

As for the Carling Cup you don't have to play players from your squad of 25, I would play a mixture of those members of the 1st squad who will only play when a player is injured plus some of the kids who are training with the 1st team. When all said done this is still a trophy which we should go all out and try to win it.

After all if the rags should go and win it they will be taunting us that they have won this trophy. So why shouldn't we go and do the same.
