The Chameleons / Chameleons Vox

Got booted out of the Ritzy about 9 years ago at one of there gigs (I think it was there anyway), always liked them.

My mates band Bushart , who play with Mark Burgess , on The Chameleons tour ( next gig is in Athens on dec 13th , i think it's the 13th ? )
As you can see the drummer is John Lever ( ex-chameleon ) and their manager is Tony Skinkis ( ex-chameleon gaffer )

Absolutely huge fan.

Seen them about 5 or 6 times when they reformed in 2000, the first gig at the Academy is my all time favourite gig and the 2nd night of their residency at The Witchwood prior to that gig was very, very special, breaking my duck. Got the lot, dvd's, t shirts, cd's, old original cassettes and a canvas on the wall of my abode.

Mark Burgess' book is a belting read, over 800 pages long and interesting look into how the band imploded and still to this day, relations between certain parties, frosty to say the least, as anyone that was at John Lever's Second Sking gig will testify to.

A particular drunken highlight of my life was dancing on stage to Second Skin at a Burgess solo gig recently, the confidence a few shandy bass's give you eh ?
