Honestly not sure that it is, it looks a lot like his hair from when he was a player, just grown out a bit and implausibly curly. Maybe he's permed it a bit? If it's a wig then it's a pretty strange one

There is a kind of purple shadow of weirdness maybe glue/plutonium underneath parts of it.

It's certainly very odd, but weirdly consistent with the baffling hair he had as a player. I think he possibly just has ridiculously thick and curly hair that he gelled to his head when he was younger, then has let get loner and curlier as he's gotten older, then gone fully Dot Cotton now he's a pundit
