Easy?

They were drawn against the reigning European champions in the very first round!

No group stage then either, if you lost, you were out of the competition.
 
Derby or west brom, but think leeds and stoke will be in with a shout.

Villa is an unkown still seem a bit disjointed in what they want.

Interestingly in the gaurdians fans preview not one of the fans from every team predicts winning it amd only the derby fan says 2nd all the rest seem to think either playoff - mid table or bottom half.

Also as long as wigan go back down that will be fine

Id love to see Frank do well at derby. Id also love to see Joey do well at Fleetwood. A lot on here may not like him but he is still a former blue who gave everything for the club whilst he was here. It's time that the new young managers started replacing the boring old guard of Fat Sam, Roy hodgson, Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce etc

The dippers, grasshoppers, aek Athens, cologne and then Malmo to claim the European cup. Yes it was considerably easier to win in those days
