Watched an old repeat last night, so apologies if it was discussed when it was shown previously.

But anyway, I think it's the first time I've seen a contestant not get a single question right. He got zero in the first round and then ridiculously went for the high offer and was gone after the first two questions.

He was only young, so you can forgive a lack of knowledge. But his educated guesswork was non existent. Cocky fucker as well. Even after he'd been humiliated.

I saw one episode once where the contestant answered every question with the same answer. Can't recall what the answer was, but made a twat of himself and similar to the contestant you mention, was sent packing by the Chaser early on.

I do wonder if some people who go on there are really as think as they seem or it's just pressure of time/bottling it.

Surely they'd know if they weren't that good and if desperate to get on the telly apply for an easier quiz show, there's some that people can almost hide in and still win.

I think the pressure gets to them, the biggest thing to overcome is if you get one wrong dont dwell on that answer you need to go straight to the next one.
