I do wonder if some people who go on there are really as think as they seem or it's just pressure of time/bottling it.

Surely they'd know if they weren't that good and if desperate to get on the telly apply for an easier quiz show, there's some that people can almost hide in and still win.

I doubt any of them would do it if the knew some egghead on a football forum was going to rip the piss out of them

One suspects the drum technician is full of the mucky stuff. Claims to have been at the 2021 Grammys with Beyonce.
At the 2021 Grammys each artist was only allowed 1 guest due to covid. I'm not having that her 1 guest was an English drum technician rather than a family member or close friend.

My dad went on sale of the century and won everything in rehearsal and then bottled it on the show.

He said it was like somebody else was speaking and he knew the answers were wrong but they just came out, he was livid with himself and he also said the woman who eventually won was thick as fuck, it bothered him for years.

Not a chance I would go on the TV

What amuses me is when yer get some better paid contestants on the show - GPs and the like - who want to spend the money on some less than exotic holiday. Why do they need to come on a show to grab some cash to fund a holiday. Surely they can dip their hand into their wallet 'n pay cash.

I think some of them are just fantasists ie a GP is a First Aider It ties in with them thinking they can win given their abysmal knowledge
