Back in the day, a few Rags used to say that they supported the scum when they were shit.
When pushed on their definition of shit, the best they could come in with was an odd season mid table in the top division and for the older ones, a season in the 2nd division when they won the title after being top for most of the season.

Is there anything left apart from total spend on players? It would be interesting to compare City Bingo past and present.

City Bingo now seems reduced to the circular argument that we are the richest club in the world and have spent lots on players so should win every trophy and every competition.

If we do it is down to money and financial doping and if we do not it is failure as spouted by the media. No evidence or consistency in either arguement.
