Leave the lad alone, at least he went and was hugely disappointed. I paid for my lad to go for his 17th birthday present and it cost £100 with travel, drinks, etc. He didnt cry but he was well miffed. I could only afford to watch it in the pub and I didnt cry but was well up for any bother with anyone who wanted to snigger and gloat. We all react differently. Shame the players didnt realise how much it means to us fans cos I wanted them running through brick walls today....and they let a lot of people down.

Cracks have been appearing in our fanbase for a while now. Many City fans cannot handle the pressure! I'm 29 and before last season I'd seen absolutely jack shit in terms of success from my club; yet I'm not crumbling like so many around me. People need to man up, big time!

I haven't read the whole thread, for all any of us know he might have just been told a family member had been killed in a car crash.

I don't mind admitting I buried twin daughters the day before the Hamburg game in 2009, and the exit coupled with our tragedy made me shed more than a tear.
