Correct.... its believed that the current outbreak worldwide is because the majority of countries no longer vaccinate against Small pox ... and haven't done for the last 50 years.

Seriously? How much do they spend on fuel to run a rig compared to how much they make on what they extract?

I was merely disputing when you said their costs hadn’t risen. For the record rig costs have gone up about $100m per year for UK sector of North Sea, agreed their revenues have gone up by more than that.

Now here is a moral question for you. Let’s take BP as an example; their overall profits from UK sector of North Sea is a small fraction compared to their global operations, some countries they operate in are dirt poor. A windfall tax on those profits is only being spoken about to help the UK population with cost of living. Is that fair/equitable just because they are headquartered here?
