Cornwall Council will sell or transfer assets including beaches, playing fields and car parks.

An example of things to come if the Tories continue in power and continue to squeeze local government.
We will see more and more councils selling off assets to raise funds in response to tightening support from the central government.
It says "sell or transfer" but we know that Sell will outweigh Transfer.
This one is Cornwall but I read that Birmingham, the largest local authority in Europe, is looking at the same thing.
Why does this matter?
Well, just as in the great privatisation swindle, these assets belong to the people - the councils run them.
FFS here we are looking at a council selling beaches.
Ready to be bought on the cheap by the great asset monsters and turned into cash generators.
"But private companies will be much more efficient" we may hear from some quarters.
Electricity, Water, Gas, Railway Networks, Train Operations, Road maintenance, Schools, Hospitals, Adult Social Care, and Youth Social Care, are all great examples of efficient privatisation.
