There were all kinds of dirty tricks to smear the NUM during the miners strike () for example. Morality for conservatives includes three attributes, loyalty, respect for authority, and sanctity, to the current crop of conservatives it has changed to disloyalty, disrespect for authority and sanctions. Conservatives now stand for immorality, corruption, crookedness, lies and indecency.
It saddens me, I never ever agreed with the politics of Thatcher but I never questioned her moral integrity, she obviously did what she thought was best and yes I hated her for it, but my hatred for her pales into insignificance compared to the visceral hatred I have for this current crop of charlatans, thieves, liars, crooks and misanthropic cunts.
