So let’s confirm 3 things from that.
1. I think the West needs to take Afghan’s that either helped us or didn’t but are innocent.
2. We can’t abandon the Afghan people.
3. I want us to monitor those on the terror list to make sure we don’t end up with another bomb attack.
I don’t care where that little **** came from, I care about innocent people being killed.
Do you disagree with any of that? Answer a straight question for once.
So why did you bring up the guy from the arena when the conversation was talking about refugees coming here?
Any chance you could answer with a straight answer?

I think most people would/should read those three separate points with that wording very differently from the quoted paragraph which makes reference to a specific event and could reasonably be viewed as linking all points.
It was just an example of the terror watchlist not being followed closely and I had no idea where he was from. As I say I don’t care, if you’re from Cheetham Hill or Syria, Mi5 need to do their jobs!No.

Yes it does, as we’ve seen the US has turned away those that have piggy backed the evacuation who are on the terror list.Which has nothing to do with refugees coming in whatsoever. Sound.

The US’s intelligence services think there’s a genuine risk and are actively declining people who are on the list.

The Taliban haven't changed and if anything they see the advantage now of getting into bed with China who can buy friends without having to go into war to achieve their ends and as for Terrorist Groups their loyalties change on a dime.
I hope I am wrong and somewhat unnecessarily pessimistic but I don't think western democracies are as safe as they were a few weeks ago.

I was called a racist recently by a white Australian male because I called the Asian driver he was a passenger in who backed into my car an idiot for not looking or reacting positively to my hoots and screams as he blindly forgot he was reversing when he thought he was heading in the opposite direction.
These days you are called a racist when you "offend" someone (LOL) irrespective of the ethnicity or gender of the person you " offend " and often its not from the person you actually direct your comment to but the mob who always speak on their behalf.
I don't know how it is over in your neck of the woods but white Australian males are an endangered species over hear now and the push back is not so great.
