whilst they were hanging on to Sidcup with a massive swing away this didn't even merit reporting but again its big news - first time ever the Tories lose control of Worthing Council - number 10 will be well aware of the Johnson effect

Labour has won the Marine by-election at Worthing Borough Council meaning it now has exactly the same number of seats as the Conservatives.
