The Conservative Party

Don’t take your eyes off the terrible legislation they are passing whilst everyone talks about ‘parties’
Yep. Someone on QT mentioned the criminalisation of protest and Fiona Bruce said "Let's get back to the issue in hand".

Yes I'm hopeful that Starmer is building something but I think as a country we need the Lib Dems to become a force again because the tories have a huge natural base, especially now Scotland is not there for Labour for the foreseeable.

The Lib Dems you say…. Hmm as a parent I can barely afford my sons tuition fees now so I do t think we need more of their right wing nonsense. Danny Alexander was the most right wing member of the cabinet.

Collectively it’s hard to argue against that, I have always favoured a dictatorship as long as I was the dictator:-)

The only ray of light is that most who voted(maybe an actual minority of those that could vote though) didn’t vote for them. However the reasons they did could just as easily been fucking stupid as well.
Electronic voting would be a huge game changer, no excuses, press a button, vote registered. Won’t happen though with current vested interests. Since I was 18 I’ve only ever failed once to vote in any election I was eligible to cast my vote; that was the AV referendum vote. Looking back I regret it hugely; changing the system is the first step to greater accountability.
I was watching Question Time tonight- was like some hollowed out crepuscular version of the programme I devoured in my youth.

Why are you paying his tuition fees? All the other students are getting a loan for tuition and basic maintenance and paying it back when they earn enough. And yes I know how much it costs parents to supplement their maintenance having been through it twice recently.

The problem is though that Labour have never been able to offer a sustained alternative to the tories - except by becoming tory-lite. Their shambolic handling of the Scottish Indy vote has left them in this position, but it never ceases to amaze me how many socialists want some form of PR; as long as they're the majority. If they really want to implement change then they need to work with others, including those they don't agree with. And stop with this demonising of the Lib Dems, it drives people to vote Tory.

To be fair, that’s personal choice on your part surely. You don’t have to pay off their tuition fees.
