I think you will find that the tax payer is paying a large percentage, if not all, the cost of dismantling platforms in the North Sea.

They cannot do enough to make a big enough difference to peoples pockets quickly enough and its no longer the poor its creeping into the middle classes - they will continue to get higher and higher mortgage payments and bills but wage increases if there are any still behind inflation. There is a long hard winter to come.
Met the father of a couple of kids mine went to school with in Lidl yesterday. When I asked what was he doing there he said they could no longer afford Sainsburys next door. His job hangs by a thread and his wife has just been diagnosed with glioblastoma. He looked bereft the poor sod.
Neighbour at the end of our street is a car trader. He has closed hit pitch with a sign with his number on saying if anyone wants to look at a car to call him and he will come to meet them. Seems there is no point in being there all day - he trades in stuff £10k -£30k range and has seen his stock devalued weekly to the point where he thinks his stock breaks even with the investment - there is no profit in it. He has bought a few £500 cars from auction and enlisted his neighbour Lenny to help him tart them up on his driveway to keep some money flowing through to keep him afloat.
Nothing will get better enough to help the Govt now its madness they don't go to the country and use next year to start blaming Labour
 
Labour take a 4pt lead over Tories in polling of blue wall seats.

These are seats in the South that the Tories have held for a minimum of the last 3 election cycles.

If they’re losing here, they’re losing everywhere.
