Todays shenanigans in Sir Lanka are the product of people being unable to get to work to even earn a crust for the basics for their families. Rees-Mogg needs to take note because as fuel costs rise with the coming of autumn and food rises etc people on here may not be able to afford to get to work and are not averse to a bit of civil unrest here in blighty either.

Do you not think that is the rationale for the draconian measures that are being put in place by Patel. They know what is on the horizon.
 
I really wouldn't put it past this being in the next chapters (so to speak) of our society.
I've already turned by freezer off.

showing a bit of leg to tray and ward off this - as soon as they report back saying nothing to see around here just carry on normal service will be resumed - I suspect it will be a few years yet before it gets "really cheap" like say 1.85 per litre - 1.65 per litre has gone never to return

The competition regulator will look at the differences between petrol and diesel prices in rural and urban areas. It said it was also concerned by the growing gap between what refineries pay for crude oil and what they then charge retailers.

We’ll soon know if its forecourts profiteering as all the Tory front bench will start buying them.
