I am the same as you I have enough to get by on in retirement - certainly if things went up great swathes of the country would have its pips squeaked before I was impacted too badly - in fact there would probably be an insurrection a breakdown of the system money would be worthless and we would be in a barter economy lol - and yes the longer this shite goes on like you I take it quite personally and think given all the damage they have done to me my family's future and my country's future I have no desire to do anything to help them try to fix things - they broke it without my help they can fucking fix it without my help too

I find them faux left, faux working class, incremental wage supporting, slave hived, head-in-the-sand Betas, that 'Yes sir' to the 'lesser-of-two-evils' mantra they're told!

But that's just my thoughts on it...
