The Conservative Party

Lee Anderthal got the first question and used to snipe at Ed Davey.
All that fudging immediately changes to Sunak being able to announce legislation to clear them.
It wouldn't surprise me if they "forget" to pass, or call a General election before the legislation helping the potatoes can pass.

They'd rather spend parliamentary time trying to screw the Rwanda bollocks down for political gain over passing stuff that clears plebs of wrongdoing.

That great parliamentarian and skilled politician Anderson attempted to politicise this affair by telling us that the Lib-Dem in charge at the time, Ed Davey, should resign.
20 mins. later that great parliamentarian and skilled politician sunak, accuses the SNP of attempting to politicise this affair.

It was a bit crass, wasn't it?
For the opening 'question' to be an attempt to divert blame was about what is expected at the moment.

There seemed to be more soft questions from friendly MPs than usual - I particularly like the Brexit bonus claims.

I saw that shellfish “question” at PMQs live and I was completely at a loss. Surely what Brexit has actually done is lose us free trade access to some of the largest shellfish consuming countries in the world that are right next door? Making this discovery now less valuable than it would have been.

It’s not like the shellfish are in disputed waters! Last time I checked Essex and the Thames Estuary are generally accepted to be in the UK for purposes of international relations…

Maybe I’m missing something?

They'll be declaring war on Guernsey next...

There must be a good line about getting their cold clammy hands on things.
