The Conservative Party

I knew I’d seen that happening but could not comprehend why they are now shutting down.

Is this another one of those ‘Handover even more money and we’ll think about staying’ before sodding off and using a bit of the money to pay for redundancy?

This government is fucking useless.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the money is because they're building new 'green' steel plants in the UK, which will cost billions, and this is a contribution towards that (I believe that asked for 1.5b towards the 3b cost originally).

They were saying that the can't afford to keep the current steel production going in the meantime, as they're losing money.

How much of that is true I don't know, but they have said they're committed to staying in the UK once the new plants are built.

Why Boscombe Down? Why not Brize Norton?

Oh wait - all that fuss there for the evacuation flights from Afghanistan, and now they might be deporting people who helped the UK in Kabul but weren't helped to escape to the UK, but have made it themselves?

It was an ill thought through diversion from Johnson to distract from something - probably the Partygate questions - that was never intended to happen that these clowns have tried to make a real policy - fucking wankers

and then electricity goes up and Tata are off. The Tories have never to my knowledge published an industrial strategy - certainly not since the Brexit vote. Business are as much in the dark as they are.

seems that Coffey doesn't know the capital of the country she references - and she WAS a minister of the crown ffs

Have you heard her latest? She knew Kigali was the capital of Rwanda and she was criticising Yvette Cooper for being disrespectful for just calling it "the Kigali government" - as if no-one ever refers to "Washington" or even "the Westminster government".

She's just lying now. Here's what she said again: "I was somewhat astonished by the speech of the shadow Home Secretary, who cannot even get the name of the country right, talking about the Kigali Government when we are talking about Rwanda — a respected country that has recently been president of the Commonwealth."
