It's a little sad that the pilot in this clip did not think the plane would take off.

the plane was supposed to be stationary . Clearly it is moving forward as it passes the cones thus negating the entire ''experiment'', How the pilot failed to grasp this simple condition is suspicious.

Where does the question state that the plane is "supposed to be stationary"? Presuming you mean stationary with respect to the ground?
