Going on the Cool Cats coaches from Piccadilly were great fun. You used them when football specials were full .
On one journey, maybe a Villa game they all got off and invaded a fairground, just for fun.
I stayed on coach with my mate.
Remember the driver had to use 2 hands to change gear..
We all ended up sitting in top tier behind the goals, city underneath, until the old bill turfed them out.
We got away with it, they stuck out like a sore thumb!
