The Craig Bellamy Foundation

This is the conundrum with Bellamy.

Things like this and his obvious intelligence when he speaks make him the sort of footballer that should be respected.

But other actions, on and off the pitch, and his whiny nature make him very dislikable.

The truth is probably somewhere in between but he doesn't help himself

He's a Blue now and he gets my full support. There's too many people out there having a pop at City saying we're ruining this and that and we don't know what we're doing.

Well done to Craig Bellamy and SWP

May be he's not the most trusted person in the football world but I feel Arry's point in this news re Bellamy is quiet straight and honest.

Redknapp explains to Spurs fans why he wanted Bellamy
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has explained to fans why he wanted to bring new Manchester City signing Craig Bellamy to White Hart Lane.

"Let's be honest, when I mentioned Bellamy to the chairman, he thought, 'Surely not,'" said Redknapp. "But Mark Hughes has had him at Blackburn and Wales and he's not a fool.

"Bellamy gets the needle with everybody because he wants to win all the time. He gets the hump when people don't train as hard as he does.

"That's what you need if you're going to be successful. You need a few Jamie Carraghers and Steven Gerrards at your club, people who want to win all the time."

Always good to see footballers doing something that counts. I wonder if he could help our CSA branch over there!

I still think he's a bellend.

As long as he does the business for us though who gives a fuck. We need more people who can score 15+ a season. Robinho will do it, Ireland will do it, that seems to be about it so far?

That's got to be the most sensible thing that's come out of Twatknapp's gob in a long long time. From our perspective it's also very good to hear.

Spot on...

I brought this up in another thread the other day and it just reinforces my feeling that although I don't like the persona projected by the media and himself publicly but he's serious about what he does and I reckon he could be a really good signing in the end...

We'll see...

Everybody hates Bellamy.........unless he`s in your team.
And let`s face it opposing fans don`t boo bad players playing against you.
Bellamy is just what we need, I can see him being made team captain.

As for charity work, don`t forget Danny Mills does alot, but 99% of people on this board slag him off constantly.
