Lot of dough involved now and all these youngsters coming through have made the top players raise their game. Mid 90’s averages were common when Taylor was on top. Now in the 100’s.Incredible the standard really these days.

Boring or cnut seem to have risen to the top recently.

Just showed Wade’s 9 darter. It was absolutely perfection. Every one of the darts. None off the wire.

I guess the flawed genius type are few and far between.Definitely. Clayton seems like a decent fella. Other than that they can all be annoying.

different doing it on the boards. Ultimately, come the World Championship few of the averages were ton plus.
It seemed to be gone were the days of MVG at his peak blowing people away with near 110 averages. Maybe the last round of the Premier League is the rekindling of that. That was a different level to even now, given he actually won tournaments at that level unlike Smith.

Not that I know of. Couple did it with a double start though in the same match. Wade and Thornton. Suppose that’s a bit different.Has anyone done a nine darter with a 170 finish?

T17 and 9 bulls for the best 10 dart finish!Can't see anything on YouTube. There are nearly 4000 different ways of doing a 9 darter. (3xT20) 151 (T20,D20,T17) T20,T20,BULL, is probably the easiest way of doing a 9 darter with a 170 finish.
The best way rather than the easiest way!

T20, T19, T18……T11 and double 18 for the best 11 darter.T17 and 9 bulls for the best 10 dart finish!
