The World Championship should be interesting. Lots of players in with a decent chance. I imagine MVG, Price and Wright will be the favourites (maybe in that order) but Smith, Aspinall, van Den Bergh, De Sousa, Whitlock, Anderson (his injury may work against him though), Wade etc could be dangerous.

Fair play to him. Deserved to win and to knock that 158 out at the end as well. You can see how much it means to him.

I would agree with your predictions, I think the "big guns" such as Wright and MVG turn it on for the world champs, I'd agree Price is in with a big chance especially with no crowd or even a reduced one.

I am especially looking forward to the advent competition in a few weeks this year given current restrictions and it's probably I won't see any of my pals, weekday viewing with a few beers - yes please!

Its odd with darts,football will always be my number 1 but I can get bored watching games. Darts on the other hand is just always a great watch. Scary how good these guys are. Last night I went up to the dartboard thinking I can get a 180, I hit about twenty 26's in a row. That is pretty standard

The standard is ridiculously good now. A 90+ average was good enough to win most matches when I first started watching darts. Now, you regularly see players getting beat with 100+ averages.
