May your father Rest In Peace und herzliches Beileid deiner Familie...

We kind of have similar pasts with me going the other way, your family are Bayern fans coming over to our side, Im a City fan from Reddish who as youll see from my posting name lives a five minute dog walk from Bayerns training ground.
Im sure when City play Bayern in the Champs League it will be an emotional day for you. I hope for your family and your dads memory youll be able to attend that game...

Know what you mean about texts from your Dad.Mine is 76 and so I keep them all now,never know when he is going to get the call to watch the Blues in heaven.
Hes a typical Blue,comments range from "Crap" to "Champions" - always makes me smile.
Your Wife and Father sound like people to be proud of.
 
A real heart-wrenching story, my condolences to you and your family. Never easy losing a loved one, I wish you all the best mate and I'm sure your dad is up there looking down on you, his family and his City.
