The decision to announce Pep

A manager who doesn't do tactics is more than enough reason why we lost yesterday.

Has happened plenty of times before the announcement.

The statement clearly was not planned.
MP inadvertently let it slip out last week, and then the club had to back it up with a statement.

This has now affected our squad, many of whom now don't seemingly care after yesterday's disgrace. Just like the end of Bobby's reign.
The season now is on the brink of ruins with nothing to show despite major summer investment.

This combined with our chronic injuries and dreadful form has ruined us.

Can you prove that?

Did Bayern players stop performing when pep was announced as there new manager to be?

Nope and neither did the team that staged a fantastic comeback to beat Everton to get to Wembley. The players knew about this weeks ago, it's been the worst kept secret ever. Even if players are leaving they still have a chance of four trophies. We lost to Leicester for the same reason we lost to Liverpool. We could not match their work rate. This will change next season.

Yep that's the difference we are not on their level, as a team as a club everything, we are not as professional as the big European top tier.

Spot on dasein.

Pat Viera and Franky Lampard helped to give us some of that mentality for a while and hopefully Pep can take us to the next level.

It does in the poster's eye's
He's given you his reason
I would have just said YES to your question

Far too many players yesterday were not interested or showed any desire. I'm not sticking up for Pellers on this occasion as his team selection did not fit well with the opposition we were facing, but for players not to be giving 100% is unforgiveable.

For me, the players should give there all to the manager, but more importantly to the match going fan who pay good money to watch them

That doesn't answer the question does it?

Obviously the players are partly responsible but yesterday illustrated perfectly why he is going.

I don't think the statement made any difference at all yesterday. We haven't played well since the first five games of the season.

Some of these lads are playing for their futures so if anything it should have the reverse effect.

Sadly too many players getting old at the same time. I think we should go back to 2 up top. Aguero has had awful service for weeks with no-one near him. Play to hard running midfielders and allow Nacho to support Aguero and give a young attacking midfielder a chance. Most of all get some pace at the back. Drop Demi and Kolorov.

I agree, he needs to and will be going this summer, and also you would expect many players to be playing as if in the shop window so to speak.

I commented on a poster a moment ago who said that Pellers came out with that statement off his own back (which I don't believe for one moment), but if that were true, I would be thinking he wasn't in on this at all and is now feeling somewhat humiliated, not that I would think he would deliberately pick the wrong team

One of the most important roles of the manager is to motivate and inspire. Like Ranieri, Klopp and Maureen for example. Pellers' is failing to do so.

Look at the reaction of the city media guy who accompanies MP to the press conferences.
The sky guy at the ground said that as the conference was starting that a PR city person came into the room and stood at the back with a pile of the statements to issue.

I know its only sky but I think you're wrong, the club knew what he was going to say.

The question us did they want it saying.
