The decision to announce Pep

MP doesn't inspire the players in the main.

When their backs are against the wall and they decide to do something about it the players have been able to turn it around.

Whether they can do it again remains to be seen and its seems highly unlikely but we have been treading above water for much of the season and for many of the players they seem to have other issues as opposed to putting in a decent shift week in week out.

Our spine needs an overhaul of sorts and we need to rejuvenate the feel good factor we had upon winning the first title.

When it is all said and done we are an average team that has been leaderless and lacking motivation for sometime.

2 titles are enough for them and to be fair to the supporters and the club and the owners most of them have to be moved on now.

It will take some time but we can do it and we must do it and learn from our mistakes in the transfer market.

It's critical we buy players who are used to pace and physicality and can work at a high tempo for 96 minutes week in week out.

Players whose bodies are not as injury prone as our current crop.
Wasn't that one of Purplenoses perceived strengths? Knowing when to move players on.

Anyone who genuinely thinks that announcement has disrupted us hasn't been watching us for the last 18 months (or paid any attention to our current injury list).

... or paid attention to the fact that Pellegrini was told before he even joined that he'd be replaced by Pep in July 2016.

Not convinced it was that early, but it's obviously been an open secret at City for a while now. The notion that the announcement has affected the players is absurd.

We have hit new lows this year since the takeover.

We are where we are now because MP is managing poorly and the players have lost the desire to do what is required as a team to get results consistently.

Injuries or otherwise its obvious the squad needs a number of fresh faces as much of the squad is not up to what is needed now.

Its made worse than what it is because of MP but that doesn't hide the fact we need a number of changes in the squad.

Not exactly, this is the guy who played Giggs until he was fucking 128? And the same guy who brought Scholes out of the retirement home for lame pigs at the ripe old age of 59?

He knew once a player stepped out of line and questioned him, he had to ship them out of the club asap.
You name an integral player he moved on because they were on the decline and I'll give you three integral players who were marched out because he was at risk of losing his grip on the club (he's even admitted this since his own retirement).
He was right with Pogba though, he's a shadow of the player that left the swamp.

we've been crap since the start of last season but no one noticed because every other team was crap. now that some teams are actually showing form, our injury list to crucial players and our inability to defend is highlighting again that we are crap under Pellegrini.

Were we top when it was announced? Nope, we were shite then and we are still shite.

Hahaha we were ducking dross well before it was announced!! It's like time has stopped waiting for this season to end

We've been shite since last season.

People keep using this excuse as to why we've been shit when it's far from the truth.

Last Monday by Pelligrini could ruin our season.
Lucky against Sunderland and they couldn't be arsed today.
I fear the weeks ahead..
This was posted early Feb!

Convenient excuse for the useless man will mean the outside world will feel sorry for him and he will get anyway with the total mess he leaves behind Gradually got worse since he got appointed made a good squad worse stuck by his mates as evidenced today and not made one player better the opposite in fact. But history will show him winning 3 trophies

I don't see how it should have made any difference whatsoever.

If you were informed at work that your boss was being replaced by another who was far better would you suddenly down tools or stop performing to the best of your ability?
