The Derby - Mon 30th at 8pm

It's almost 9 weeks away, hardly close. All fixtures are subject to change anyway so that's the risk you take, people only have themselves to blame for doing it before tv had picked their games.

flipping joke that this can be changed so close to fixture. many of us had booked saturday morning - sunday night flights

well when u are watching ryanair and feel that the price is right, u just think that from 730 saturday to 11pm sunday, u are covered. not nice this

Not really knowing that Monday nights Premier League football is also played. Not like a games never been on a Monday before is it?

course there was a chance, think it was fair to say most would have thought saturday or sunday lunchtime was much more likely

It had been pointed out on a few threads though that if we were in europe the game would be moved, and it wouldn't be played on the sunday due to the Manchester marathon so there was always a good chance it could be on the Monday night.

Correct.

Opposite for me, I wouldn't have been able to go had it been on the Saturday, as I've already tried and failed to get that day off work. Delighted now I can go!

Can't please all of the people all of the time.
