The derby where we show the world the tide has turned

I believe this is the derby where we will prove to the world that the tide has turned for good in Manchester football.

The Carling Cup games seemed to be the barometers at the time, and in some ways they were, but an injury crisis and the wrong tactics meant we were just forced out.

I think, apart from Rooney, our squad is better than theirs. Who would get in our team now? Rooney of course, Evra, Vidic and possibly Fletcher. But that's it for me. And that's the first time I could say that in 20 years.

I think this is the one. We will end their title challenge and cement our place in the top four. Noone will sneer any more. Noone will call us chavs or classless or unbalanced. All doubts will be removed.

City will show the world we are back.

I think Saturday is our time. I think we deserve it and I think we're good enough.

There are still weaknesses in the side. I'd drop Toure and stick Nedum there, with Richards at right back. And I pray he doesn't pick Vieira as that could lose us the game.

But the way our attacking four are going at people, with the incredible performances of Kompany and Barry, and with the sense of unity the players seem to have, I think this one is ours. We deserve it after the two Old Trafford derbies this year.

And I'm going to remember how it felt sitting in Old Trafford in January, gutted, with those cheesy songs playing and all those fucking kids and goons and glory hunters bouncing around, pretending to be excited.

This is our time. I really believe it.

completely agree, this is a huge huge derby, biggest in the league for years. the doubters in the media are starting to believe we are here to stay and so will the rest of the world after saturday
BRING EM ON

Horrible, horrible experience.

That's why i brought it up, IP.

But I didn't feel jealous when it was happening, as you would think.

It was embarrassing and was further proof of what plastic, soulless, hateful sheep they are.

So? They're nothing to worry about. What have they got up front in comparison to us? What kind of form are they in compared to us? They're crap and their league position is a lie!

I actually thought that night "If this is what we want to become then football can fuck off"

never will i forget the atkinson derby as long as i live, i want revenge, should be interesting to see who the fa appoint for the game and what instructions he will be given, i want city to make it impossible for any dodgy decision or any time added on added time, or for any little scrote come shithouse to start throwing articles at any of our players, to make any sort of impact on the game, basically i want city to destroy them?

Beat them next week, win our game in hand and we'd only be 5 points behind them .......

Fanzone Danny were you asked to do Fanzone on Derby Day on Saturday?

Tbh I was alright in that carling cup game I knew it was coming, it was the 4-3 in fergie time that was the sickner. We owe them for that one.

To the tune 'If you hate Man united clap yer hands.

'Ode to John O'Shea':

I would rather be a bitter than a red. I would rather be a bitter than a red. I would rather be a bitter than take it up the shitter, coz we know John O'Shea gives Fergie head!

Lets get it on boys n girls for Saturday :)

Oh me as well, that was proper gutting. I should hope we never stoop to that level. But when Tevez knocks in his third we will laugh.
