The derby where we show the world the tide has turned

This will live with me til the day i die. Whenever we get one up on them in the future i will always look back to that 20 minutes.

Horrible, horrible experience.

Same as mate, I can even remember the sh1tty words unfortunately I will have to take that to my grave with me, Saturday could ease that pain somewhat

When all that shite was going on around us the lad in front of me was close to tears and turned round to me and said, "It doesn't get any worse than this mate."

He was right, but I vowed never to forget how I felt for those 20 minutes when we were basically subjected to twenty minutes of MUFC endorsed baiting, taunting and ridicule at the hands of acne ridden little scrotes.

I comforted myself with the knowledge that one day, I'll be able to return the favour with interest. Saturday could be that very day.

"Always be civil to people on the way up as you're sure as hell going to meet those same people on the way back down" I was always taught. Unfortunately, United have never adhered to this, so I'm going to kick seven shades of shit out of them when we pass them on our way up.

A lad to my left was crying.

I have to say it wasn't the worst I've felt following city, though, far from it.

Maybe that's just me getting older but losing a semi does not kick you in the teeth like getting relegated.

But I thought the same, m27. I actually thought "we will get the c.unts back for this, and soon"

I think Saturday would easily make up for it. In some ways it would be more significant. They becoming also rans and us becoming contenders.

Those wanker little kids and gloating Mr Averages will know that City have risen like a phoenix from the flames and have pecked their fucking head off.

Beat them, get CL spot, get group with scum in it, knock them out of CL. A dream come true. I'm sure they're on the downward spiral from here on in.

If we win I will be celebrating like the Tasmanian devil lol.

Really up for this already I hope them rag cunts get locked in. City should make sure they get locked in.Play them some Norwich songs.

In terms of significance DD this has got to be the biggest Derby in I don't know how many years far bigger than the CC semi IMO.

I felt the same that day watching all the window lickers bouncing around the swamp, it was bad but I actually had a bit of a smile on my face as you could see hom much beating us now means to them as they know the tide is well and truely turning!

I agree with Scott, lock them in.
That 20 mins after the semi was horrible and everyone who was in our end knew there was nothing we could do. Lock em in play bluemoon so they have to listen to that and after there behaviour in the semi let all the kids/women/OAPS get home safely. If they still want to come out swinging after that there will be plenty of us still about and MAry Ds and the Manchester would empty pretty quickly.

I hope the lads deliver on Saturday, because the rags have it coming.

The Owen ''winner'' in the 97th minute, Fergie laughing with the 4th official deliberately trying to wind Hughes up, their fans behaviour in both semi final legs, golf balls with nails and darts they tried to sneak in to Eastlands, Woman and children supporters being intimidated after the game at Eastlands, the City coach being attacked before the second leg, the things that were thrown at Bellamy (from different directions, by more than one person) at the swamp, locking our fans in after the game, trying to embarrass us with the piped in ''music.''

They have it coming and then some, well revenge is a dish best served cold and I hope City are as calculated as the most ruthless of hitmen on derby day. This isn't about stopping them winning the league, that would just be a nice bonus, this is about us pushing on for fourth and showing them we mean business and we're hear to stay. This Is Our City, This is Our Time!

The worse bit about it was there was fuck all we could do.

It sums up their club really that a decision was made behind the scenes to have a special version of "Que Sera..." recorded with the sole intention of playing it when we were locked in after the game. Does it get sadder than that?

If that was their riposte to the "Welcome to Manchester" poster then I think they need a new marketing department.

The tide turned in Jan IMO.

We lost it but the diginity we had compared to hate, desperation and vitriol being stoked up Taggart and Ratboy proved to me that we are hurting them already.

On saturday they will be there cheating, faking, ref baiting worst and the players must rise above it. If we do the match will be closure for what we started in sept 89 and the circle will be complete.

Im worried, we might get beaten come saturday. I dunno its just a bad feeling i have. :((((((((

It would be City.

Champs league but rags take 6 points off us.

I just hope we don't bottle it and play with stupid levels of caution like we did in the cup. If we go for it and lose then fair enough but losing by playing cautiously would be hard to take.

De Jong's early warning for United

FIVE STAR SHOW: Nedum Onuoha celebrates his goal against Birmingham

Nigel de Jong vowed to go for Manchester United's jugular in next week's crunch derby.

The ferocious Blues midfielder says City will be focused entirely on earning the points to bolster their own Champions League chase.

But he added that it would be "nice" to damage the Reds' title ambitions at the same time.

City revved up for the Eastlands clash with a 5-1 crushing of Birmingham, taking their goals tally to 14 in the last three matches.

They now have a four-point cushion over main fourth place rivals Tottenham, who play their game in hand on Wednesday in the north London derby with Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

But de Jong says all City eyes are now fixed firmly on next Saturday.

"United need the points to catch Chelsea and they know Arsenal are behind them," said the Dutch ace, who stood in at late notice when Patrick Vieira was ruled out.

"They have to secure their place in the top two. We need those points, even though Liverpool drew.

"But it's a derby and there is always more at stake. It would be nice to damage United's title chances but we have to focus on our own goal. Anything else is extra from our point of view."

The Blues also want revenge for the injury-time 4-3 league defeat at Old Trafford and the late, late Wayne Rooney goal which knocked them out of the Carling Cup in January.

"This time we will go right to the end - I promise!" De Jong added.

From the MEN

I can't wait for this and although I am confident I will still be a bag of nerves.

The tide is definitely changing and I think these past 2 weeks has hit it home to them more than ever.

I came into work today and my boss, who is a completely level headed good guy stated that there should be a salary cap and the amount of foreigners in a team should be restricted again.

He then went on to say City and Chelsea are just buying success. Funny how this comes out now and not 10 years ago when they ruled the roost.

Lad behind me in Greggs just now talking to his mate saying he is dreading Sat coz they are "gonna get fucking battered". I just stood there listening and grinning :o)

That's an interesting one. Mancini has abandoned his negative tactics for the last 5 or 6 games.

What will he do against that lot?

Completely agree DD. I am convinced, convinced I tells yer, that we will go all guns blazing and record a scoreline which like the Chelsea result, will make people go, 'fuck, they're for real aren't they?'. Tempted to stick a tenner on a 4-0 scoreline, with Ade getting a double and Tevez/Johnson getting the other 2. I simply cannot wait for Saturday.

That semi away was the worst experience of my life. I swear to god, we better beat these cunts now. I will stay in the ground dancing about and goading them until they're let out.
All that they have got right now is the fear factor. Teams are scared of them. This is the worst squad they have had in my lifetime, and they are definately beatable, as long as we give them no respect at all. We cannot be worried about them, and should play our own game, and the points and pride will be ours.

definitely has to be the worse rags side in recent years. No Rooney,no chance thats how much they are now a 1 man side.Well done Glazier.

We will go for the jugular, of that I have no doubt whatsoever.
