The Detectives: Fighting Organised Crime

Its just the sensible thing to do and their solicitors will tell them to do it. Makes their case rely on the evidence they have, rather than anything coming out of your mouth.
If you are ever interviewed for anything, guilty or innocent, answer "no comment" until you get representation.
If you’re innocent wtf would you want to incriminate yourself as “probably” guilty in the eyes of the law by answering “no comment”. It’s fucking mad, go back to the old days and let the plod give them a slap if they don’t answer question, (I know, I’m not being serious, just pathetic really how these fuckers get away with it).

The ‘no comment’ to every question these scumbags are asked is just bollox. Wtf is all that about. There must be a way to use this against them in court to deter them from just spouting that bs to every question??
Guy who broke my neck in a car accident used the no comment line throughout several police interviews. Pity for him he was over the limit and driving dangerously. I get why its used, but the consensus was the 'no comment' line was anything but helpful for him. Still, I'm sure his wife and kids were happy to be in the car with him at the time. Thankfully they were all OK in their 4WD and managed to enjoy their Christmas whilst my family and I tried to get back to normal. Cunts.

I can't bring myself to watch this, though. Far too close to home.

However it doesn’t seem to carry the weight it should in my opinion

It's got to get to court first and if you stay silent then it means the police have to build a case without you assisting them in it. No one's going to stroll in and say "I did it". If you were innocent you'd happily give all the information you could. But plenty get done for crimes they didn't commit because they talked and the police felt they had enough to prosecute with. There was that bloke recently who got done for rape when he had a solid alibi and looked nothing like the image of the man the victim had described to police, had no previous. The police didn't bother looking into another guy with a background who was known to be in the area.

As you say, in court if I was on the jury I'd be convinced of their guilt on the basis they didn't talk and then took the time to sort a story out!

Finished it last night.

The Rochdale mob were a proper set of cunts. Deserved every minute they got behind bars.

Gutted for the young lad who passed away. Sadly, another innocent person/family who the drug trade has destroyed.

Where’s the rest of the episodes re Paris Bostock etc? Can’t find the **** anywhere on the net / kodi etc.

and them c*nts that think they have the right to have to be proven guilty.

My last run in with the courts service really challenged my views on out justice system. The CPS don't want justice they want convictions guilt or innocence is irrelevant once the decision to prosecute has been taken.

Me too. I’ve been thinking about that poor young lad and his family all day. Absolutely appalling.

People do stroll in and admit offences of course they do
Gives them full credit at sentencing
Criminals go no comment and test the evidence
Of course there are miscarriages of justice as well

I meant specifically in gang culture at that level. You keep quiet, walk out and threaten any fucker who has anything on you.

It could get to the stage in the not so distant future where the Armed forces have to step in, it happened in Northern Ireland, backed into a corner solution’s need to be found.

The Police are fighting a losing battle but I doff my cap to the Rochdale Plod, they’ve got bigger balls than most.

Condolences to the young lad’s family and RIP Cameron, absolutely fucking heartbreaking.

How did that scumbags father, I think he was called Naz not get charged with threatening a Police Officer?
Is his restaurant still open, that place should be boycotted by everyone if it is, and I’d send health inspectors round everyday to shut it down. Same with any suspected drug fronts, they got Al Capone by tax evasion, follow the money and they will have fucked up eventually. Tax evasion seems to get more time than murder these days.

How was no further action taken against that corrupt Police Officer? She had written "lol" when being told about the axe injuries to that lad so she's hardly a victim under stress.

RIP to Cameron, he was a brave and courageous young man to do what he did.

Kudos to the detectives as well, great work and brave to allow their work to be documented by the beeb.

Prison is little more than an occupational hazard for these bastards. They’ll do the sentences easily and be looked after when they come out. It’s often no deterrent.

To see gangsters glorified over the years is disgusting. The misery they cause on innocent people.
