We had Kernaghan at CB so not much difference really. ;-)Haha yeah that's the one, wanted us to lose but we popped up in that red and black away kit with the weird wonder web panels. I remember uwe rosler sliding the entire length of Manchester when he scored the winner in a 3-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday that season. Amazing times could you imagine how we defended back then to how we do now?

Going further back to the 67/68 season I remember us having home games against Chelsea and West Ham on Good Friday and the Saturday - that wouldn't go down well now with the matchday prices, even at '68 prices it made a hole in my pocket money!

correct.Normally I'd agree but the break means we can actually get some players back, because I don't want us to play another game without KDB Nasri and Delph available.
And the following Monday we beat sunlun 3-0 in the penultimate game at MR iircI also remember one youthful and spotty looking Joseph Barton popping one in at Spurs away on a good Friday. Bring it back I say.

It has been nice to have a weekend off from stressing about the football results,bit of england and city women has helped fill the weekendHate these blank weekends. I see where you're coming from Kazster, but I miss the stress, wondering how Demichelis will play, who Pellers will bring on around the hour mark, waiting for the inevitable injury(ies) and the concession f the regular soft goal(s).
