The Eddie McGoldrick paradox

He was dreadful wasnt he, didnt we sign him the same season we signed the world beater Trevor Christie

He must have been dire because i dont remember watching him play for us.
But depending exactly when he did,it could have been the era when i cant recall much about what i was doing !
My point was, there have been various comments on here about him acting like a proper t**t,but im still trying to find out what he did.

Kanchelskis was a pretty high profile name that made a few appearances for us that I would certainly file under 'wiped from memory'. I guess in a similar vein to Beardsley.

Oh. Michael Branch too. Thought he'd be great when he came in. Nope. Wiped from memory.

I'd possibly say Dalian Atkinson. Certainly was high profile in the mid 90s, and I'm not sure too many would recall his brief time with us.
All three great shouts

Derek Parlane. A little bit before my time, to judge him as a player, but he was sort of my first childhood era, based on a book article describing how to volley a ball like he was a kind of guru of the art.

So many players of that era get mentioned, but even on here, his name rarely crops up.
