"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" 11/11/11.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" 11/11/11.

Hopefully it'll come tomorrow just finished Uncharted 3 and what a great game that is....

It's a first or third person rpg. You can change camera angles.

Each game is completely separate from others in the series so you don't have to have played any others. The selling point of this game is vast vast array of things to do, I'm talking 100 hours playtime.

The game gives you so much freedom is ridiculous.

I'll give you an example of one of the missions in the previous game, you are in a house with 10 other guests. The doors are locked and you have to murder all of them and there is a bonus for no one knowing who the killer is. Like a murder mystery, so you've got to spend the night following them and luring them places.

There's 100's (not exaggerating) of these type of missions, there's also more than 'kill everyone' type of missions

I cannot recommend the series highly enough and you should definitely buy it, or rent it. Just play it !

why??

I dont play games...just asking the question why?

Because they're scrotes, game developers work hard and they're the reason so many English games companies are going under and the reason why many more are struggling.

Hate companies that felt no way in making us pay way over the odds for decades before the p2p phenomenon... In the 90's/00's we were paying £15 for a CD!, £20 for a DVD!... Even today £40 for a game is ridiculously overpriced yet we still pay it. £20 is a fair price imo and until we see fair value i feel no way about downloading...

It's called making a profit, it's what this countries economy is based on. You should go rob Asda for your weekly groceries because I hear they're charging over the odds for bananas, and you know what else I heard this week, that Tesco were actually selling food to the public, for more than they purchased the food for orginially. Good heavens !!

Haha I love this kind of self-righteous illegal downloading tripe. If you're going to do it (and i'm no angel with music) at least have the decency to admit its theft - even if it is socially acceptable.

'£20 is a fair price IMO'...well nice to know you've got a sound pricing model there. Personally I think something like Skyrim is amazing value to most forms of entertainment (music, dvds) you would spend money on. The amount of production coding, developing, writing, art design, , musical scoring etc etc that goes into something like this is mind-blowing. You're talking tens of thousands of man hours. If you want to have a go at pricing, have a go at Inifinity Ward charging £15 for 4 maps - not this!

seriously why would people waste money on cod when this is out in a few hours... i cant play it until 1pm tomorrow though when i finish work

also did you hear it has infinate quests? once you've completed the quest lines it just generates more like extra assasination targets and jewels to steal

also armour crafting is now possible :D

Half tempted to see if my local Morrisons will have it in stock tomorrow and get it when it opens, Fridays off college and not working till 6PM. Decisions, decisions

Bethesda have said the main quest will take around 30-40 hours, but to do everything in the game like jobs and side quests will take more than THREE HUNDRED hours, just amazing
Cant wait for this only problem is ive just got Battlefield 3! Oh well thats me sorted for at least the next 6 months!!

Well pissed off is an understatement as to how I feel right now!!!

Just recieved my Skyrim (PC version) today from Game straight away in the CD Drive clicking next and agreeing to T&C rapidly like a crazy bastard till........... BAM!!!!

"Skyrim cannot be installed, as it hasn't been released yet."

This message from Steam (a digital distribution, digital rights management, multiplayer and communications platform developed by Valve) appears, so I can't install it all because it's not been officialy released by Steam and their is NO WAY to avoid it and just simply install it old school style....

So I've paid £30 for a game I can't even play yet its a fuckin farce, I'm at work all tomorrow and at Lee Evans after work so won't even be able to play it then either but to get it a day early then a big fuck you is just taking the piss!!

But wait it get's better I can "Pre-Load" it which basically means wait for 5 fuckin hours to install the bastard whilst half the world does it as well!!!!

FUCK OFF STEAM YOU CUNTS!!!

I've actually been told that the pre-load just downloads the game (which I obviously don't need) so looks like I'm waiting till 12am >:-(

Also I never knew about the fine thing, I've always gotten games I've pre-ordered online like a day before it's release date, I normally go on Game or Play.com

seems a bit excessive that for selling early copies, maybe it's just an in-store thing?<br /><br />-- Thu Nov 10, 2011 7:18 pm --<br /><br />

oh yeah good point lol. no its a legal thing same if i sell a dvd or CD before the release date and similar fines if i print off a professional photo that a customer doesn't have written consent to print

My order has been declined from 'thegamecollection' won't be ordering from then again. Gonna pop in to morrisons tomorrow and get it instead.

Can't wait to play this game though, contender for the game of the game of the year out of a brilliant bunch. (Battlefield3, MW:3, Drakes Fortune 3, Forza 4...etc)
