"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" 11/11/11.

Added a few texture mods to my game, as well as something called FXAA which makes the graphics on the PC a million times better. If you're on PC give this a wack http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=131

I just finished it. Did the main quest of course and just about every possible guild quest except the later randomly generated ones. Probably missed some side-quests on the road as there are so many but I reckon I did around 80%+ of the game's content. 80-90 hours it took me... and yet the main quest itself is really short and unsatisfying so the side-quests are really what make the game.

Have to start again, stuck in a place where I cannot beat the boss and I can't go back.

Really, really trying to do the main quest but whenever i get to a new town or city i start chatting to the locals and keep getting side-tracked!!
I currently have 13 main quests and 27 side quests on the go!!

This game is bloody brilliant

Started a new game, going to build my player up this time. Went with Ralon this time though.

Stuck in a cave, too many glitches in the game. Going to sell it when I'm in town tomorrow as I don't want to start over again.

I did too, I got stuck in Volskygge.

Luckily, I was only a few hours into the game.

Just seen the video on YouTube about putting baskets over the shop keepers head and taking what you want. Handy.

Ah, I learnt this was an issue in Oblivion. Simple solution is to assume the game could fuck you over at any point, so have multiple save files.

That's what I do, I have 4 and split them into two groups of two. When I enter a location, say a cave, I alternate saving on the first two files. Then when you get out of the cave into Skyrim, you change to the other two and save on them alternately. That way if you have an issue in the cave, you can flick back to your previous save file. If it's a problem with the cave itself, you revert to your last save out in the world of Skyrim.

Sounds like effort, but it stopped my game being ruined once so it was well worth it. The game in general is worth putting that extra bit of effort into despite its inconveniences.

Change settings to novice rather than start over. Cheating I know but better than restarting. The default setting is adept. Novice gets you through easier
