I haven't bought a house yet, I just make her lug all my stuff round with her. I've killed her a couple of times by accident when the dumb bitch gets in the way but I've had to load up a save coz she's carrying all my good stuff I need her til I buy a house
how have you not bought a house yet, the one in whiterun is only 5000, really usefull having a chect to put stuff in.
i did leave all my stuff in a random chest before i bought my house, which was a bit stupid but nothing got robbed.
Who needs a house?! I just carry everything round with me and make her carry loads of stuff, sometimes I treat her and give her a fancy new weapon to carry. I spent the first few days wondering why she only ever used her bow and arrow til I realised she could carry stuff for me, now she's shit hot with her lighting staffs.

I've spent all my money buying up iron ingots to make daggers coz I wanted dragonplate armour, but now I've done that I can save for a house. Plus my hoedem gives me 500 gold a day for profit from the shop which is nice of her. Good wifey
ooooh didn't know you get money for being married, might do that tonight.

im getting my smithing up atm, but im making leather stuff cos its easier to find than iron, just go an kill loads of dear which is getting my archery up and sneak cos i sneak when i kill them.

Don't need sneak and don't need archery, I just run in and bash everyone to death with my iron mace that I've enchanted with fire. It's a bit of a shit weapon but its done me proud so far, I might craft a new one soon now ive perked all of the smithing

I need to get my lockpicking up another 1 to hit 40 so I can perk where you dont get spotted lockpicking

Normally start a fight of with a sneaky arrow to the head, then rush in with my sword. I do mix it up though, I will sometimes just kill things with magic or with my big double handed sword.

I really need to find or buy some lockpicks i keep running out, haven't got any perks for it but unlocked a master lock the other day.

Everytime I see lockpicks I buy them I've got about 200 now. What level are you? I'm 27 and i haven't really done anything yet, I've seen the greybeards that's about it. I might go and kill that ice wraith next

26, done the graybeards and done a little bit further in the main quest but not far, then just done loads of random side missions, mainly doing the winterhold college missions atm, but keep getting side tracked.

How do you get your speech up quicker? It's a pain in the arse I was making like 50 daggers at a time selling them all individually and its only levelled up about 3 time since I started the game

Ah right I'll try that. I've not really done much magic I'm more of a warrior on it, I might concentrate a bit more on my magic

Well don't we sound like a right pair of sad twats!!

I've got found some medallion that puts +15 on speech. Always stick it on when I'm selling stuff.

I'm currently doing what you did, making a shit load of iron daggers to build my smithing up to get the dragonplate armour perk. Want to enchant it so it makes me magika regenerate quicker as well. Sick of wearing shitty robes that regenerates my magika quick, but one hit of a mace and half of me health has done one.

How do you get married by the way?

I've perked a couple on speech but i don't really sell that much stuff to be honest, i keep things and then when i get too full to carry anything else i sell a few things on. Hopefully when i get a house it will make it a lot easier to get through some quests without holding too much stuff. In fact, i live in the riverwood trader now with my hoedem so i can keep all my stuff in there, i'll just banjo the little prick behind the desk if i come home to find any of my stuff in the shop window

To get married I just went to the riverwood trader, threw a few shapes, spoke to the woman in there, she liked my moves, asked if she could marry me, went to the temple of mara in whiterun, saw the priest guy, he married us and there we have it, got myself a sexy little shelf stacker in the space of 25 minutes

She cooks for me, gives me money, never asks where i've been when i don't come home for 5 days on end, i just think she's just a bit frigid. If she carries on without tending to my manly needs i'm gonna give her a right hook, see if that works

Sweet! Think I'll do that tonight. My housekarl, Lydia, died on me the useless sack of shit. First time I let her come on a quest with me as well. Got my house in whiterun, currently stocking up on dragon bones and scales for when I get round to making dragonplate armour.

Stato: Didn't really think of that. I have over 100 leather strips as well. Cheers for the tip!

The house I got in Whiterun cost 5000

That one seems the cheapest, the one in Windhelm costs more.

Just had a dragon glitch on me. It tried to attack me but I went into a cave by accident, when I went out it was just stuck in the sky above me. Started putting a few arrows into it and it did a flip and started flying backwards and with about 10x speed. As soon as I get its health down to around a quarter it just fucks off within a couple of seconds. :) Its the one where you get the frost shout.

Can you have only one companion at any one time?

Edit:

Joke this dragon now. Still the same but managed to kill it, or so I thought. It had no health and it still fucked off.

Just doin 'blessing of th nature' th one with th tree. Im up on orphan rock tryin to kill th with but she keeps blastin me with fire before i get across th fallen tree to get to her... Th slag!! Any ideas?

How many other houses can you buy?

If you take step back a bit to your left on the ground where the trees are, there's a ridge on the orphan rock she stands behind and she can't get you, but you can ping her with arrows, that's how I killed her, plus it helps I have dragonplate armour so it didn't really matter if I got hit with fire

You killed Lydia yourself, she can not die unless you hit her as she is recovering.
She is a fantastic help if you equip her with better armour and a huge hammer to swing at things.

Should restart from when she is still alive and wathc out if your spraying magic about the place.
