THE ENCONA WEST INDIAN HOT PEPPER SAUCE APPRECIATION THREAD

Anyone use it on chicken wings?

Melt 2oz butter in a pan with 2 cloves of garlic (dont burn it)
Add a large bottle of sauce ,heat through and let it go cold,
Roast the wings and with 5mins cooking time left,take out and coat wings in the mix
and put back in the oven to glaze.

Heaven on a plate

I recognise that recipe....Buffalo wings ?
 
Was speaking about this with the woman from the butty shop today. Habanero & Scotch Bonnetts. Add it to soup in winter. Warms you up a treat.

There's one made by "Tropical Sun" which is even hotter.

All good tackle.

Yep

I love wings,best part of the bird
We came back from Orlando in September,and since then i have been trying to
get "that taste"
We have used 6 large bottles since we got back.

My stomach loves me,but my arse hates me

i used to go thru a bottle of encona every week.

and now i suffer from stomach acid and have been warned off chilli for good or i might end up getting ulcer.


dont abuse it!
 
I love it though it isn't really for the same uses as good old HP.

When my local Somerfield shut down in Hale I got 12 large plastic squeezy bottles of Encona at 30p a go so I'm set up for a couple of years.
