The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

All around Bank Street and locality by Philips Park

I think the signs are only for the new parking bays, the wardens were slapping tickets on the vehicles that had parked up on Croft Street (where the new double yellow lines) have been marked) on Tuesday night.

Any news on clayton Lane, I usually go down on the train but night games I drive is clayton Lane still open

Its still open for now but the parking bays and posts have gone in ready to stop us parking there. Its madness as those who normally park there will now just park in Openshaw Village.

Some of this is just seems stupid and not thought out at all.....Bank Bridge Rd, Croft St, Clayton Lane are all areas they should be wanting us to park to help residential areas. Those of us that are able will just walk the extra 15 mins into Openshaw, Droylsden, Newton Heath. West Gorton and park there, so it is just moving the issue rather than resolving it by adding enough buses/trams.

I don't see them having enough traffic wardens to enforce it all. They already miss large areas now, so no chance of full coverage when this come in.

I have been told by a few residents that they have been advised it wont start til June, so this season should be are normal.

About to head over down for the Spurs game. Usually park on Bank Bridge Rd. Any updates on whether can still park there?

More double yellows appearing - eg on Cantrell St where the car dealership has also installed a barrier. It’s open for the car parking “agents” who just want to stop cars parking on LHS of road which has parking spaces

Saw a van driving around with a camera on the top. Enforcement van. Only needs the one traffic warden driving that.
