The England match last night

I don't think it was an experimental team at all, sub the Chelsea players and the injured Gareth Barry into last nights team and unfortunately that's his starting 11. No idea what he sees in Walcott, shouldn't be anywhere near the squad, let alone the starting lineup.
Yes but the rested Chelsea players and the injured GB constitute half the bloody team. Against the USA it will be a completely different starting eleven.

I watched the match, it wasn't brilliant but we did win. Was waiting to see Adam come on but it was so near the end when he did I had lost interest by then. What is wrong with the pitch at Wembley, it seems a bit rough, our groundsmen at City could teach them a thing or two about maintaining the pitch.

I couldn't make my mind up about Capello's view on AJ.

IMO he is either going to get a half against Japan and had a few minutes to get him used to the atmosphere or Fabio gave him a few minutes to get over his first cap, not that he looked like he needed it, and doesn't want him to have too many minutes on the pitch so other teams don't know what to expect.

Either way I would expect him to be on the plane to SA as he offers something that nobody else in the team does.
