I am completely underwhelmed by this news.

I can honestly say I have never had the urge to phone anyone when watching football, neither have I ever fretted that i've missed a call.

In fact, I can now imagine bored kids and other supporters sitting there in silence texting all the time, or even worse, waving fucking i-Pads around recording bits and sending them on. Knobs permanently on Twitter. People trying to Skype each other, it's the beginning of the end!

All you need at football is a terrace to stand on, pies to eat, beer to drink n fags to smoke. Job done!

Good news for various reasons already stated.

With this stadium vision thing they're talking about, I bet you get people just watching the replays on their phone instead of watching the match! But also, it says 'all fans' so I wonder if it actually means all fans as in someone in say Australia could use it and watch highlights and get stats as they're happening?

The BIG question is "How much ?" I bet its not free.

As someone else said, I'd like to think that it will come as part of your Platinum Seasoncard package, each cardholder will have a unique pin they can enter when prompted to gain access to the Wi-Fi. If you're not Platinum, or not even a seasoncard hodler, there could be a charge levied. They can't make it too much as otherwise people will simply not bother to pay for it and it'll be a wasted opportunity.
