Why were Everton fans booing Sterling? Surely it was an opportunity to show their hated rivals a bit of clever banter. Would have been priceless to raise a cheer for the young lad who wanted to better himself and move clubs.

Would have been good spouse humour which we are told they have.

Does such a thing exist ?? I find the booing of sterling strange, but anyone ex Liverpool n' all that.

Eddie Phillips.... the first person to back Swales every AGM....
The reason the club had to change the badge on the shirt as Phillips owned the rights to the club badge - not the club.
Phillips came out of the shop once to try and remove a few of us flogging fanzines behind the North Stand. I asked him who he was and he said ''you know who I am'' to again me saying I didn't (and trying to keep a straight face).
Told me to move again and I asked him on what authority was he asking me. He said he ran the souvenir shop. I told him we weren't anywhere near the souvenir shop and asked him to move from where he was stood as he was in the way of fans wanting to buy a fanzine. He fucked off in a huff! Never came back!
That's a top post mate, got me chuckling.

He"s another Swales for me and the sooner kenwright sells the club to someone who knows what hes doing the better it will be for Everton! Apparently all season ticket holders at Everton have to pay up by march, thats reminds me the way city used to be run, also the money now in the game is way more now than then! From the outside it looks like its run like a corner shop...
I agree his motives have stark similarities to Swales but he is not on Swales scale for outright buffoonery. Man City cornered the market at one time in that quality. Just remember the ridiculous comb over. Class.

Have they not got a couple of billionaires on the board and Kenwright wont sell?

kenwright has always stated he is the best man for the job but has failed in his attempt(if any existed) to sell the club. when his company (true blue holdings) took over in 1999 there were 20 PL clubs. of those 20 only 2 have not had new chairmen-everton and middlesborough. lord grantchester and Daresbury family members are both on the board but seem to refuse to finance the club whilst Kenwright is in charge. the board needs to be changed for sure, as fans we support our team for football reasons so don't always understand the business side of the game. far too much info to digest, changing fans opinions takes time, evertonians need to keep stating facts, challenging the board openly and directly if possible. Kenwright should let the running of the club go, 16 years is long enough at the helm, success or not, and take Elstone with him.

I have a couple of contacts who have been close to things going on at board level at Goodison and it's a bit like a series of mediaeval alliances with no one trusting anyone else and no one person quite having enough power to force anything through. Kenwright's allies keep him in power but there's a lot of tension from what I gather.

They were definitely talking to ADUG as I've seen the emails between them and Amanda Staveley, who was clearly getting increasingly frustrated with their refusal to do what they'd been requested to do before ADUG would commenced detailed discussion with them. Everything pointed to Kenwright really having no intention of selling.

I genuinely believe he has a Messiah complex and believes he's the only person who could do the job. You only have to look at the shows he's produced - Jesus Christ Superstar, Whistle Down The Wind, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat - to see that.

PB, i think kenwright genuinely believes his own ego led publicity. sadly the fans have seen through his "boys pen, riding the game on uncle cyril's handlebars " anecdotes. i think any agenda should be more pro-everton than anti kenwright so as not to detract from the end product of replacing the board. kenwright appears to have influential media contacts who protect him.

From Kenwrights Wiki page.

Kenwright is the current chairman of Everton Football Club, whom he claims he used to watch as a boy at Goodison Park despite evidence of him being regularly seen at Anfield.

He has openly requested to song "You'll Never Walk Alone" be adopted by Everton fans

I don't know how much of this is true but weird as plastic chips.
