The f*#k is wrong with society today?!

Fucking how weird was that? Me and bluethrunthru posted exactly the same thing at exactly the same time. Too weird for me, Im off for a pint

Don't want to turn this into any kind of political argument, but the reason this sort of thing is happening isn't down to society, but the governments tactics when it comes to drugs. Reading in the MEN that they told a woman they had taken 3 pills each, an overdose like that of any drug legal or illegal isn't going to end well. It's time now that the war on drugs was reassessed, drugs were reclassified and schools started educating kids on the effects of drugs, rather than just saying 'drugs will kill you', because they see people taking them who aren't dying and immediately everything that's been drilled into them becomes bullshit.

Parents to blame more than anything else I'd say. You'd think the headline of this story would shock me but it really doesn't. You see kids of their age outside estates drinking fucking vodka so it really isn't that big a leap for them to also be taking drugs as well. Sadly some parents just don't give a fuck.

Yep, that Calpol is heavy shit when you are 3 months old

Yep, definitely the fault of the government. Absolutely nothing to do with the parents maybe educating their own kids.

I think society has gone back to how it was before the wars. There were child alcoholics and opium addicts in Manchester during the industrial revolution, lots of robberies and street muggings by kids on anyone from other kids, rich businessmen and old women to get money to pay for their addictions.

Is anyone really shocked by this? I'm not. Lots of kids take drugs these days, lots. What's happening though is that drugs are getting stronger and stronger all the time and that's a danger for young bodies that won't be able to handle that.

When you live in a society (and possibly partake in these things) where you can buy alcohol and cigarettes freely over the counter, nobody can say there should be a war on drugs. Drugs are as enjoyable and stress relieving as any "cigarettes and alcohol" session. I like them. Two of the most dangerous things you can do to your body is ingest alcohol and inhale cigarette smoke. Many drugs are far safer. Nobody ever comes out and says there should be a war on alcohol.

Question is what kind of people do these 12 year olds know to purchase shit like that? When I was 12 I wasn't allowed to wonder off, had to be home by 8pm and I sure as hell didn't know anyone that sold ecstasy.

Not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me, but that is basically the same point I was trying to make.
