I was at walking around the new training ground before and it got me thinking that it's been 10 years since we left Maine Road. So out of curiosity, I had a look on wikipedia the date of our last game at Maine Road (Southampton) and it will be 10 years to the day on Saturday since our last game at Maine road! It's amazing how far we've come since that game.

And in typical City fashion we've had five managers during that time !

We lost that game, hope it's not an omen!
I think we've got too much for wigan personally, it's the only trophy we can win this season so the boys will be up for it, and if they're up for it they can beat anyone.

Fox Soccer in the USA showing the best City cup games through the years. Some cracking memories in there. Beating Ipswich at Villa Park probably the most poignant for me.

C'mon City... make some more this weekend.

Just don't see how this game can be competitive because Wigan have lost quite a few of their important players.
They will probably defend and counter attack in hope of nicking a goal, its the only choice they have really.
This Cup has been laid on a silver platter, lets not make a hash of it boys.
4-0 to Manchester City

Shitting bricks :( even tho I can't see Wigan posing any threat. Hope we go at them from the off and have the game put to bed for half time they're 3 bottom for a reason lets have it boys :)

City 3 Wigan 0 (Aguero,Tevez & Dzeko)

Pantilimon

Zaba Kompany Nastasic Clichy

Milner Silva Yaya Nasri

Tevez Aguero

not slept last night, let alone tonight!!

the team i think mancini will pick

nasty
yaya
nasri
barry

id go with hart,lescott,milner.....instead of panty, nasty and nasri myself, but there should be more than enough to see wigan off......if we play well we will win comfy 3-1...with goals from yaya, sergio and tevez
