Apparently I am not allowed to post a new thread. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I beg you all not to stand (other than in celebration of our goals), I am only 5 ft tall, my other half is 4.11 tall (small), when we were at the semi final we saw ABSOLUTELY NOTHING other than on the big screen.

So, please have some sympathy with us short people, I haven't paid £65 to be behind someone who insists on standing and don't go on about standing for nostalgia, we have paid for seats, so, seats are for sitting on OK.

Take a box

Nice to see how understanding some people are!!.

I wasn't taking the piss. What's more realistic - 25,000 people sitting down in a cup final because someone's come on bluemoon and asked them to because he/she is so short, or taking something in to stand on that might allow the short person in question to see the game?

To those of you who commented, (a) They will not allow a box!! (b) Lankyblue i.e. as in Lancashire County Cricket Club, not reference to my lack of height !! (c) I had absolutely no choice where my tickets were I got what I was given, I had absolutely no choice. (d) If everyone sat (and stood for celebration only as in Colin Bell Stand) I wouldn't be asking.

Also children are going to the game, why should they not be able to see!! Too dangerous (as health and safety would say) to stand on seats.

Just some consideration is all I am asking.

Sorry lankyblue, you are unlikely to get much sympathy from the standing-up fascists on here. They don't understand/care that not everyone is able to stand for 90 minutes, or that short people can't see even if they do.

The sooner safe standing and compulsory seating are both brought in, the better.

This will be the only solution, it's a matter of choice or lack of it as the case may be. Having to stand up because everyone in front of you is standing up is not ideal, some people aren't able to stand for any length of time.
